Vibration Assessments (Whole Body)

This survey comprises of quantitative measurements necessary to determine the extent and severity of whole-body vibration to which employees are routinely exposed whilst undertaking daily work tasks.

At least 3 machines will be tested for each different machine type used within the workplace.

To be conducted as per the requirements of Section 8 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (1993), SANS 2631-1:1997 and Human Factors Management Standard (SANS 3000-4:2011) – clause 5.2 – Mechanical vibration and shock — Evaluation of human exposure to whole-body vibration.
